Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT) Chennai was established in 1998 and is affiliated with Anna University. In 2004 AVIT Chennai became a constituent college of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (VMRF). The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA), Government of India.
