Located at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, IIT Indore aims to attain this mission with humanistic interests. IIT Indore campus spans over 501 acres at Sirmol, a location on Khandwa Road about 25 km from Indore city. Students can apply at the institute. Indian Institute of Technology or IIT Indore is an institution of national importance that was established along with seven other IITs in 2009 by an act of the Ministry of Education. This institution is a part of the Government of India initiative that envisioned India as a global technology leader.
With the belief of the older IITs, IIT Indore also aims to play an active role in propelling India on a growth trajectory by directing and focusing on research-based education and research driven by innovation and entrepreneurship. IIT Indore ranked 28 in the overall category, 21 in research, and 14 in the engineering category by the NIRF It has also been ranked in the band of 601-800 in overall category by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

IIT Indore Admission 2025
IIT Indore admission 2024 is ongoing. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registrations are open, with the exam date scheduled for April 4 to April 15. Following qualifying JEE Main, successful candidates need to register for JEE Advanced 2024 and take the exam scheduled on May 26, for IIT Indore B.Tech admission 2024. For M.Tech admission, GATE 2024 exam dates are February 3, 4, 10, and 11. IIT Indore admission in M.Sc requires candidates to appear in IIT JAM 2024 to be held on February 11. The result for the same is scheduled for March 22.
