About Jadavpur University
Jadavpur University is an Indian public autonomous university located in Kolkata. The University provides a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programmes. Jadavpur University courses are available in arts, science, and education, as well as in professional fields such as architecture, engineering, and pharmacy. A total of 140+ courses are available at the university. Jadavpur University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The university is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade. The 96-acre Jadavpur University campus is home to a total of 35 departments under its three academic faculties along with a number of interdisciplinary schools and centres of excellence. Its campus facilities include hostels, guest houses, a central library, a daycare centre, a health centre, and JU Employees’ Coop Credit Society Limited, among many others. The Jadavpur University application process is entirely online. Both admission and merit play a role in the selection process. Jadavpur University ranking 2024 has been released by NIRF. Jadavpur University Admission 2025
Jadavpur University admission to BTech will start with registration for WBJEE counselling 2024 in July 2024 (tentatively). Students must pass the JEE Main or WBJEE exam for admission to BTech courses at Jadavpur University. For Jadavpur University admission to M.Tech, students need a valid scorecard of GATE. For Jadavpur University PG Diploma admission, the university conducts its own entrance exam. Apart from BTech, the university offers admission to other popular courses like BA and B.Sc at UG level. At the postgraduate level, Jadavpur University,offers admission to MTech, MA, and M.Sc courses.
