Established in 1992, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University (KIIT) in Bhubaneshwar is one of the foremost prestigious universities in India. The University attained the status of a University within just seven years of its establishment under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2004.  KIIT Bhubaneswar is famous for its excellent academic achievements in such a short time period. The KIIT University has been ranked 20th according to the NIRF India Rankings 2022 among all the Public & Private Universities in India. Improving from its 21st position last year, the different schools of KIIT-DU performed well in the NIRF Rankings.
