Below we mention the detailed admission process for UG admissions based on the CUET:
Now that the CUET results are out, Miranda House admission 2022 for UG courses will move forward. The college will release its merit list and counselling schedule based on the “subject-based normalised scores” mentioned in the CUET scorecards. Students need to register on the CSAS portal for the same. The portal has been activated by DU since September 12, 2022. The CSAS registration link is available on ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
- The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) will be carried out in 3 phases.
- The first phase comprises students applying to Delhi University.
- The second phase will be the selection of the preferred colleges and courses by the students.
- In the third phase, students will be allotted seats. Once they will accept and confirm their seats, the admission process will be completed.
- The admissions will be done on the basis of the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” of students. These are declared by the NTA on students’ CUET Result 2022 scorecards.
- The second phase of CSAS will be from September 26, 2022, to October 10, 2022. Students will be selecting their programmes and colleges in this phase.
- Students must note, that the CUET Samarth and DU guidelines advise to select as many combinations of courses and colleges as possible. This will avoid any problems during seat allotment.
- Both, CSAS DU phase 1 and phase 2 may remain open till October 10, 2022.
- The programme-specific merit score will be auto-calculated by the university.
- When the preference-filling phase of CSAS will be completed, the seat-allotment phase will begin. Here, seats will be allotted on a tentative basis.
- If students accept their seats within the mentioned deadlines, the seats will be confirmed upon further verification of documents. However, if they fail to do so, it will be considered a “Decline” and passed on to the next deserving student.
- Apart from this, there will also be a two-day window for students. This will be for reordering the college and course preferences.
- There will also be a Mid-Entry window activated after the second seat-allotment round. This will be a one-time window as of now, but it may reopen if the need be.
- The date of the declaration of the first list of admissions will be declared by October 10, 2022.
