NIT Warangal B.Tech JEE Main Session 2 registrations are open till 25th February, 2025 and the exam will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025. While, the results for the JEE Main Session 1 are out. For M.Tech admissions GATE will be conducted on 1st, 2nd, 15th and 16th of February, 2025.
NIT Warangal was established in 1959, which aims at educating and providing opportunities to students pursuing courses in engineering, technology, and sciences. It is a renowned autonomous institute located in Fathima Nagar, Telangana. The institute is approved by AICTE. The NIT Warangal campus has vast land covering 40,470 sq.m. Its premises are spread across 26,995 sq.m. The institute is only 10 km away from the Kazipet Junction railway station and Hyderabad airport. Moreover, the NIT bus stand is only 7 km with various access routes via the college. NIT Warangal Admission 2025
NIT Warangal admission 2024 for B.Tech will start from June 10, 2024 along with the registrations for JoSAA counselling. JEE Main 2024 session 2 results have been announced by NTA on April 24, 2024.
Like any other institute, NIT Warangal has a set of specific selection criteria that students need to meet to be eligible for admission. Here are the main pointers that candidates must fulfil to get a seat in NIT Warangal:
- 12th marks: Candidates who want to secure admission at the NIT Warangal, should have at least 75% aggregate marks in their 12th standard boards. SC/ST and OBCs must have 60% aggregate marks in their 12th standard boards. The institute of passing should be a recognized institute.
- Other methods:Â For specific courses, the candidate must meet the required English skills tests, entrance examination cut-offs, etc. In addition, they will also have to pass the personal interviews and group discussion rounds.
- Documentation:Â Apart from getting the cut-offs and clearing the entrance exam, the candidate should have all the proper documentation. If a transfer of domicile certificate is needed, candidates should arrange it by themselves at the time of admission.
The application process for NIT Warangal admission is quite simple as the admission cell handles everything from documentation to onboarding students for each course. First and foremost, the candidate needs to get hold of the application form, which can be found either at the institute’s office or through the online portal of the institute. The candidate must fill out this application form and submit it with a nominal fee of Rs 1000, which is non-refundable.
For specific courses, the candidates need to appear for an entrance exam. Many courses like B.Tech, MBA, and M.Tech requires the candidate to go for an entrance exam, and the selection criteria are based upon the marks and rank secured in the entrance exam as well as the last degree exam or 12th standard boards.
