Lady Irwin College Admission 2023: The University of Delhi has announced the PG third list merit. On the other hand, for UG admission, spot round two results are also announced. Candidates who are allotted seats at Lady Irwin College must confirm seats before September 13, 2023. The next step for candidates is to pay the fees. Lady Irwin College is a constituent college for women affiliated to the University of Delhi. It was established in the year 1932 under the patronage of the then Vicereine, Lady Dorothy Irwin. Some eminent national and international leaders such as Annie Besant, Sarojini Naidu, Margaret Cousins, and Maharani of Bhopal were its founding mentors. The Lady Irwin College NIRF ranking 2023 is at the16th rank in the college category. The institute is accredited by NAAC with an “A+” grade.

Lady Irwin College Courses are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate  and doctoral courses in the field of home science and has also introduced education courses such as B.Ed, B.Ed Special Education and PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition recently. Lady Irwin College aims for the holistic development of the women students and their capacity building through well thought academic programmes and extracurricular activities.

The faculty of Lady Irwin College is well-qualified and regularly upgrades itself to provide students with enriching teaching experiences. Lady Irwin College fees range from Rs 26437 to Rs 68330 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 22 courses at UG and PG programmes. Furthermore, Lady Irwin College offers 10 courses in BA, 3 courses in BSc at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations – 5 courses in MSc, 1 course in PGD. Admission to Lady Irwin College courses are open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts DU Science. In addition to this, scores of DU Arts & Commerce, CUET PG, CUET, CBSE 12th are accepted by Lady Irwin College.

Lady Irwin College Admission 2025

Lady Irwin College admission process is completely online. Candidates seeking admission are required to apply online on the official website. Admission to UG courses is done on the basis of CUET scores followed by e-counseling. Candidates need to pass their 10th and 12th classes with 40 percent marks in total to be eligible for UG courses provided. The program-specific eligibilities vary from course to course.

The marks obtained by the candidate in CUET will be considered for computing the total marks according to the Program-Specific combinations of subjects for deciding merit and granting admissions in the undergraduate programs. Merit will be based only on the ‘combination of subjects in which a candidate has appeared in CUET as mentioned in the respective Program-Specific Eligibility.

PG admissions are done through Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). There total of 75 programs for PG courses which is been provided by Delhi University. As per the DU admission policy, 50% of seats will be reserved for DU students, while admission to the 50% seats will be provided through DUET. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for PG courses through the DUET entrance exam.

Lady Irwin College Application Process

Candidates who wish to enroll for the UG courses are required to apply for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) whereas candidates who wish to apply for the PG courses are required to apply for the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET).
