NASC Coimbatore Courses

Nehru Arts and Science College was established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust. It is a private college which is situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college has been affiliated with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college has also been accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade as well as NBA. The motto of the institute is “Knowledge is wisdom”. It has also received the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications. The college strives to provide high-quality education that emphasises the three defining components of knowledge, skill, and behaviour. NASC currently provides 3,705 candidates with highly popular courses in the Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management streams.

The Nehru Arts and Science College courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. There are a total of 22 courses offered to the students. The majority of college courses are available to students in a regular, offline mode. The Nehru Arts and Science College admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate’s performance in the last qualifying exam. For admission to UG courses, candidates must have passed class 12 in relevant stream from a recognised board. They must have a graduate degree in relevant stream to become eligible for PG courses.

A gymnasium, boys’ and girls’ hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking options, a full-fledged library, a canteen and other amenities are available to students at the 35-acre Nehru Arts and Science College campus. For all tasks related to placement, the college also has a dedicated placement cell. In order to give students the opportunity to start their careers before even finishing their education, the placement cell of NASC Coimbatore holds placement drives every year with the assistance of the participating recruiters. The institution often hosts a range of activities, including webinars, seminars, pre-placement interviews, training sessions, and more. It also has a strong track record of placing students.
