Hindu College is one of the most prestigious colleges in India, affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU). IIT Varanasi has opened its admission for the academic session 2025-2026. Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi earlier known as the Banaras Engineering College was established in 1919, and in 2012 it was renamed the Institute of Technology of India Banaras Hindu University. - Departmental Disciplinary Committee: This committee is headed by the Assistant Proctor and 3 faculty members of the respective departments. It is set up to be mobile, alert, and active at all times of the day and is empowered to inspect potential ragging places.
