About IIT Ropar
IIT Ropar has started engineering admissions for the academic year 2025. The JEE Main 2025 session 1 has been conducted and the results are out. JEE Main 2025 Session 2 application form is open 25th February, 2025 (up to 9:00 P.M.) and the exam will be held from April1 to 8, 2025. Candidates have to first clear JEE Main to be eligible for JEE Advanced for B.Tech admissions at IIT Ropar. The JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on 18th May, 2025. For MTech admissions, GATE exam will be held on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
The IIT Ropar courses are offered at UG, PG and PhD levels in the fields of engineering and science. The degrees candidates can choose from are B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and PhD. B.Tech is the flagship programme. The IIT Ropar fees range from Rs 4,235 to Rs 1 lakh per semester. The fees will differ depending on the degree level and the student category.
The IIT Ropar placements for the year 2024 were made available by the official authorities. In the UG programme, a total of 298 students registered and 219 students were placed. The placement rate was 73.49%. The IIT Ropar average package recorded was Rs 22.09 LPA (UG). The placement percentage for the PG batch was 55.94%. A total of 80 students were placed out of 143 registered students. The average IIT Ropar placement package offered to the PG students was Rs 11.96 LPA.
IIT Ropar course admissions are determined by valid entrance exam scores along with candidates’ previous academic merit. The entrance exam scores accepted for admission to the institute are JEE Advanced, GATE and IIT JAM. New at Integral University :
For several undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programmes, including BBA, BCA, and MCA, Integral University admission for 2022 is currently available. The University has not, however, made the deadline for applications public. - Departmental Disciplinary Committee: This committee is headed by the Assistant Proctor and 3 faculty members of the respective departments. It is set up to be mobile, alert, and active at all times of the day and is empowered to inspect potential ragging places.
Integral University also has a Women Grievance Cell to promote equal opportunities for development for women and prevent any sexual harassment and gender discrimination.
An additional committee for grievances regarding COVID-19 also has been put up in place to address the concerns and grievances of the students related to examinations or any other academic activities arising due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
