Lovely Professional University or LPU is a private institution situated in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India. Established in 2005 under the Lovely Professional University Act, 2005 (Punjab Act 25 of 2005), it began operations in 2006. This national entrance and scholarship exam evaluates the academic performance to check the eligibility for admission to various UG & PG programmes. This offers scholarships of up to Rs. 9.52 lakhs.
