IIT Patna

IIT Patna has been ranked 801–1000 in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking 2024. IIT Patna NIRF Ranking 2024 has been released. IIT Patna has ranked 41st in the engineering category and 66th in the overall category by NIRF India Rankings 2024. The Government of India recognised IIT Patna as an institute of national importance. IIT Patna courses are offered under ten academic departments. Students can pursue B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and PhD programmes. The institute offers numerous placement opportunities to its students. As per the official information released about IIT Patna placement 2024, 61 students of batch 2024 have received pre-placement offers (PPOs) from 22 companies. The highest package offered till now is Rs 82.05 LPA, and the average package offered is Rs 28.50 LPA.

Indian Institute of Technology Patna, or IIT Patna, came into existence in 2008. It is one of the new IITs established by an Act of the Indian Parliament.
