Thiagarajar College Madurai was founded in 1949 with the intention of serving society by offering everyone access to high-quality higher education at an affordable price. It is a private, government-funded organisation affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. The college has been given an “A” rating by NAAC. The curriculum of Thiagrajar College aims to combine information with skill in the teaching-learning process, which supports a culture of learning and innovation. Students’ involvement in project work, practical training, internships, and online learning enhances learning. Modern teaching aids and ICT tools make learning more accessible to students.

The Thiagrajar College courses are offered in 15 postgraduate specialisations in addition to 25 undergraduate courses. Additionally, it provides PhD and M.Phil courses in a range of disciplines. Thiagrajar College Admissions

Thiagarajar College admissions are offered in 11 undergraduate courses and 8 graduate-level courses. Additionally, the institute provides four M.Phil. courses and PhD degrees. Eight UG, five PG, and five M.Phil. courses are available in the self-finance streams. The self-finance stream also offers 11 diploma courses and 12 certificate programmes.
