NMIMS School of Business Management ranked 21st by the National Institutional Ranking Framework(NIRF) by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.  SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management is the first B-School in Western India, that has been accredited by AACSB for the second consecutive time. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies was founded in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelvani. NMIMS Mumbai, deemed to be a university, offers education through its 17 specialised schools. The college has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A+ and a 3.59 CGPA. The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has recognised it as a ‘Category 1’ university. NMIMS Mumbai has been ranked 11 in the pharmacy category, 21st in the management category, 47th in the university category, and 88th in the overall category in the NIRF Ranking list 2023. In 2022, it was ranked 11th in the pharmacy category, 25th in the management category, 51st in the category of universities, and 89th in the overall category. It has also been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB, USA) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
