About Chitkara University Patiala
Chitkara University is a private university established in the year 2010. It has the right to confer degrees as per Sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A+’ grade. It has approvals from BCI, COA, PCI, NCTE, INC and NCHMCT. Furthermore, the university is a member of Assoication of Indian Universities (AIU). Situated 30 kms away from Chandigarh, With a campus that is over 65 acres in size, the university offers engineering, architecture, nursing, management, healthcare, pharmacy, arts and design, education, media, hospitality, and applied sciences programs. It offers a total of 35 courses at undergraudate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.

Chitkara University Courses and Fees 2025
Chitkara University fees range between Rs 59,000 – Rs 16,06,000 per year for UG courses. For PG courses, fees of Chitkara University is Rs 90,000 – Rs 4,20,000. Candidates are required to pay the Chitkara University fees 2024 on a semester basis for all the courses. Chitkara University also charges an Educational Technology Services (ETS) fee and a Career Advancement Services (CAS) fee along with semester fees. Chitkara University courses comprise over 35 courses in various fields, such as engineering, management, pharmacy, law, physiotherapy and science. Courses in the university are offered in 140 specialisations. Chitkara University courses admission is done based on entrance exams like JEE Main for B.Tech, UCEED for B.Des, NATA for B.Arch, XAT/MAT/CAT for MBA etc.
Chitkara University Hostel Fees Structure
Chitkara University hostel fees range between Rs 34,200 – Rs 30,000 annually depending on the accommodation chosen. There are three types of rooms available, three sharing, four sharing and five sharing. Students who have applied for mess facilities have to pay the mess fee along with the Chitkara University hostel fee. Students have to pay the hostel fee annually along with a mess fee of Rs 13,000 per semester and a laundry fee of Rs 3,000 per semester. A caution deposit of Rs 5000 must also be paid with the hostel fees for Chitkara University, which is returned at the end of the session.
