SVC was established in 1961 and it is one of the prestigious colleges affiliated with Delhi University (DU). The college offers UG and PG level courses in the streams of commerce, arts, and, science. The popular courses offered are BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MA, and, M.Com, which are offered in a variety of specialisations. The college has a faculty of 211 teaching members and it intakes more than 4600 students every year.
It is accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A’ grade and has a 15-acre campus located in the South Campus of DU. The campus is equipped with facilities like hostels, labs, cafeterias, auditoriums, medical aid, etc. Further, for the Sri Venkateswara College placements, the highest CTC offered is Rs 21.5 lakh per annum.

Sri Venkateswara College Admission Criteria
As mentioned above, the SVC UG admissions are based on the CUET scores along with a basic criterion of Class 12 and the PG admissions are based on the DUET scores. If a candidate has completed his or her Bachelor’s from any DU-affiliated college or is applying for a related course, then he or she can opt for merit-based PG admissions as well. However, if the candidate is applying for a course different than that of his Bachelor’s or has graduated from a non-DU college, then it is a must to attempt the DUET exam.
